What to Expect at a Veterinary Appointment
Knowing what you should expect from your first veterinary appointment will help to make this process more pleasant for both you and your pet.
All of our clients will need to fill out our New Patient Form when they arrive at our office. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork.
Meet Your Veterinarian
A member of our veterinary team will walk through your pet's medical history with you and discuss any issues they may be experiencing. This is your chance to ask any questions you may have and our vets will be sure to dedicate time to answering them.
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
Once your pet has been assessed, we will provide you with a diagnosis and options for treatment. Your veterinarian will work with you to determine a treatment plan for your pet.
Our Pet Care Philosophy
We are proud to provide pet owners with sound advice and optimal veterinary care in our Bellevue veterinary hospital. We are committed to providing your pet with state-of-the-art veterinary care to not only keep your pet healthy, but to help you provide your best care for them too.
We are passionate about preventative care, client education, and providing comprehensive emergency care to Bellevue pets.
Learn more about our office policies, payment options, and appointment booking by reading through our hospital FAQs.
- What types of payment options are available?
Payment in full is expected at the time services are provided or upon discharge of your pet. We accept payment by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- Are there payment plans available for my pet’s care?
We are proud to offer CareCredit as a financing option. They offer an easy application process that will give you results in minutes.
- Will I be provided with an estimate of costs?
We will always provide you with an estimate of the cost of our services in good faith before treating your pet. However, unforeseen circumstances may arise in the course of treatment and impact your final bill.
We will always discuss our written estimate with all clients before they leave our facility, and require a deposit based on our estimate prior to any further treatment.
- Should I call ahead to book an appointment?
- What is your appointment cancellation policy?
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, let us know as soon as possible so that we can off the space in our schedule to other clients and reschedule you to the most convenient time possible.
- What types of animals do you treat?
We provide core and emergency care to small domestic animals like dogs and cats.
- Do you offer any health certification services?
Yes! Our vets are able to provide health certificates for moving pets between states within the United States. We aren't able to offer certificates for international travel.

If you have specific questions about behaviors or special nutritional needs your pet needs to have addressed, contact us for advice.
- What are the fees associated with an emergency visit?
A deposit payment is required for all emergency examinations. Once the staff and doctors have examined your pet, an estimate for treatment will be given to you to determine a treatment plan.
If further hospitalization, diagnostics or surgery are required, a deposit is required upfront, with payment in full due when your pet is discharged.

We’re happy to help you fill out pet insurance forms for your pet’s visit.
